Background and history of these pages

Some of you might remember the early e-mail listings that I posted, starting in the late 1990’s. This appeared to be quite successful, but with the large number of changes, it was not updated promptly. I am not a web developer, but have played around with computers for many years and thought it was time to learn a little more about web hosting. A friend recommended dreamhost.com as a conscientious company that would supply a site with the tools that were needed. I paid my money and anchorage.alumni.com now exists. It is still a one-person hobby.

The main feature, the e-mail list has been changed so that you can subscribe and un-subscribe on your own, but it still requires me to post the addresses. But with the input entered correctly, I can copy/paste/save/upload in a matter of 5 minutes. Hence my goal is to update on a weekly basis. If you subscribe but do not give permission for showing your e-mail, you will only receive e-mails that I personally send out. Traditionally, this has only been the invite to the Alumni Tea in December, but with the convenience of this system, I might send out some reunion information also.
